What is the best die cutting machine for a beginner?
I have heard that Cricut or Sixxiz machines are simple to use. I have never used a machine before am finally ready to purchase one. I have looked into a product called a Silhouette sd because you don't need to buy the high priced cartridges but I've seen a few reviews that say there will definitely be a learning curve. I've also seen something called a Slice Elite that looks fairly simply. I'm concerned about the cost of all these cartridges. Has anyone used the Silhouette sd? How hard is it? Can anyone offer a little insight, suggestions or comments? I sure would appreciate the help. Thank you!
A good basic machine is the cuttlebug http://www.provocraft.com/products/index.products.php?cl=cuttlebug you can use dies from other brands of similar machines so your not limited to the dies provo craft makes. You can look up videos on youtube on how to use other brands of dies in the cuttlebug. With the cuttlebug you can cut and emboss, it you are just starting out I would recommend the cuttlebug before you invest in an electronic cutter.
